Running for Mental Health

Being on this journey to wellness is interesting to say the least. Having a purpose to be a better human and sharing my journey with you is inspiring, and also reminds me that things don’t just happen by chance.

In my previous post, I talked about how overwhelmed I’ve been feeling lately. Then I came across a great article that talks about the relationship between running and mental health:

In this way, exercising your skeletal muscles by running clears from your bloodstream a substance that can cause mental health problems.

If you’re interested, I’d recommend you check out the full article “What Does Running do to Your Brain” from June of last year in The Guardian.

Until next time.

On the journey,

Cliff
